Meet the instigator behind Swim4Kids, Stuart Jeffries. After getting tired of talking about doing something to help others and to get fit, he came up with idea of swimming from the Gold Coast to Brisbane to help raise funds for the RCH.

Although he had been told on many occasions that he was crazy, he put those thoughts into action and with the help of others, swim4kids is on its way to becoming a successful charity event.

When not involved with swim4kids Stuart works overseas for Halliburton in Alaska. In his downtime he gets his enjoyment from playing with his two boys, surfing and playing touch footy. (and socialising after the game with a few ale’s)(added by wife).

Stuart’s main objective for the swim is to make the distance, and to ensure everyone involved has a great time while trying to raise money for a good cause.

Paul "Campo" Campion is an award winning radio host, he has been in the radio industry for 20 years and is currently the Drive announcer on 973 FM Brisbane.

Paul over the years has involved himself in many charity events but nothing like this, and is looking forward to this amazing challenge to help out the Royal Children's Hospital Foundation

Bluey has been involved with swim4kids since the first swim in 2007, designing and managing the website. He is a Marine Fitter/Turner by trade but switched to the dark side and has been working in IT for the last 16 years.

Married to Kim with 2 kids, Emily and Callum, Bluey currently runs his own Web media business while working part time in the Design Tech department at his daughter's school.

Bluey was a runner up to Stu in the 2008 Swim4Kids Snoring Championship.
