Get Involved

There are 3 ways to get involved in Swim4Kids...

Swim4Kids – The Ultimate Swimming Adventure! 21 October - 22 October

Swim4Kids is a tag team swimming event held over two days. Starting from the Breakfast Creek Hotel, participants swim inside a purpose built cage pulled behind by the Tangalooma
Flyer, up the Brisbane River and across Moreton Bay to Tangalooma Island Resort and then back to the Breakfast Creek hotel the following day. Swimmers will spend around three
hours on the boat before being transferred to Tangalooma where participants will enjoy dolphin feeding and a celebration BBQ on Friday night.

In the lead up to the event, each swimmer must raise a minimum of $1500 or $3000 collectively if you are in a team of three.

There will be three departure locations and eight waves to choose from over the two days.

You don’t have to be an elite athlete to participate. The swim is open to anyone with enough heart to help sick kids, and is willing to have a go!

We hope you will be able to join us on this incredible swimming adventure!

Schools Register nowThe School Team Challenge - October 3 to October 21

If 30ks in 30 days is too much for you, then get your school or swimming club together and take part in the School Team Challenge.

The School Team Challenge is a fun and simple fundraising day that can be easily incorporated into your school swimming program. Engage your whole school community in a one day pool challenge and swim the distance from Brisbane to Tangalooma!

The School Pool Challenge is free to register; all we ask is for each child who takes part to donate a gold coin or fundraise online. The challenge is for your school community to swim
300 laps cumulatively to reach Tangalooma.

It’s this easy:

  • 20 kids swimming 15 laps each
  • 30 kids swimming 10 laps each
  • 60 kids swimming 5 laps each
  • 75 kids swimming 4 laps each
  • 100 kids swimming 3 laps each

At the end of the Pool Challenge, you can log in online and enter the laps your school has completed, or just return the form in your registration kit with the number of laps and all the funds raised and we will do it for you!

There are great prizes up for grabs along the way too!
